At the start of the vacation week, there were three games played today, with only one in town. Fairport beat Ithaca on the road (13-7) and Penfield lost to West Islip. Thomas hosted Frontier (Section VI) and won their match 16-1.

-- Fairport took the ride to Ithaca where they used an eight goal three quarter to cement a 13-7 win against the Little Red. Ten different players helped out on the offensive end and junior goalie Tyler Wetzel made ten saves (58%) to give the Red Raiders a win in their season opener.

-- Webster Thomas has the only game in town today as they hosted Frontier from Section Six. After scoring the first first goals, they finished the half at 9-1 while senior goalie, Davis Bird made two saves (67%) and junior goalie Ben Yonko made three saves (100%) for the Titans. Twelve players made the book for Thomas, led by Kevin Hill (4g-2a). Cam Isaac had 2g and picked up nine ground balls.
-- Penfield started their spring trip to Long Island where they found a very strong West Islip team ready to hand them a 15-5 loss. Senior goalie Willie Klan faced twenty-eight shots and had a 57% day in three quarters in the goal. Senior attackman Max Spaan led the offensive effort with 2g-2a.
