Rising senior long stick midfielder Allen Thibodeau has announced his commitment to study and play lacrosse at the Rochester Institute of Rochester after his senior year with Fairport next spring.

Allen has been a fixture on the Red Raider defense since his freshman year. A two time Class A All Tournament team pick (Freshman and Junior years), he was named to the first team All League team (MC-d1) last year. He was selected as a Fairport Team Captain in his junior year.

In the off season Allen has played for the Blaze Lacrosse Club since seventh grade. He played on the Rising Sophomore team in the Nike Blue Chip Tournament and played on the Under Armour All American 2015 Uncommitted Team in 2013. He also played at the Nike Blue Chip Camp and the Peak 200 Camp, where he was named to the All-Star Team.

RIT currently has six Section Five players on the roster. Head Coach Jake Coon has been with the Tigers for five years and has helped his team win five straight league championships and five straight trips to the NCAA DIII tournament, including the first appearance in the finals (2013).
