Thursday: Brighton Takes Gates Chili in a Close One
 - 

There were five games played on Thursday and most were one-sided. Victor defeated visiting Spencerport 19-6 and Aquinas increased their record to 3-0 with a 16-5 GRALL win over Livonia. Eastridge defeated Batavia-Attica 16-8 and in the closest game of the day Brighton scored three last goals to beat Gates Chili 7-5.

--  McQuaid Jesuit scored six of the first seven goals and controlled the game in their 9-5 win over Bath. The Knights had the majority of their scoring come from senior Joe Hayes who finished with five goals.

Overall the Knights saw scoring from eight different players. Mitch Fuller led in scoring for Bath with 2g-1a. In the cage for the Rams, Jacob Cupp finished with eleven recorded saves. He also led his team in ground balls with six. McQuaid Jesuit had two different players between the pipes. Gianmarco Coelho played the majority of the game and recorded four saves. --  Gates Chili and Brighton had a close game with the Barons defeating the Spartans 7-5. Brighton scored the final three goals of the contest to take and secure the lead in the final quarter. Gates Chili scored the first two goals of the game with Austin Castre and Joe Talarico scoring unassisted goals. The Barons' Max Coke assisted Orian Furber to put them on the board. Coke finished with 2g-4a for Brighton and contributed to all but one goal. Three minutes later Brett Jacobs scored for the Spartans to keep a two goal lead. The final goal of the first quarter was scored by Ethan Appleton (assisted by Coke). Gates Chili led 3-2 going into the second quarter.

Brighton came back strong in the second quarter and scored the first two goals to take their first lead of the contest. Coke scored both goals with the first assisted by Appleton. With 3:54 remaining in the half, Brighton led 4-3. Talarico scored his second (of three) to tie the score at halftime. The third quarter opened with Talarico scoring his final goal (as well as the final goal for the Spartans) with 8:17 remaining in the third quarter. Brighton scored the last three goals with two from Will Bender and the third from Appleton.

In the cage for Brighton, Isaac Berg finished at 50% with 5 recorded saves. Leading the ground ball charge was midfielder Christian Mann with eight. Parker Lawrence (6) and Parker Finestone (3) also contributed to the Baron count. Michael Cavallaro also finished at 50% with seven recorded saves for Gates Chili.
