Mike Wright Selects Lake Erie Storm

FioreWaterloo senior attackman Mike Wright recently announced his decision to study and play lacrosse at Lake Erie College (Painesville, Ohio).

Wright, a three year Varsity player, scored 26g-10a in 2013 and 25g-3a in his sophomore year.

Off season he has played for the Finger Lakes Lacrosse Club, the Lionheart Lacrosse Club and he was an alternate on the Nike Upstate Rising Seniors year last summer.

The NCAA Division II lacrosse program in its fifth year is coached by Head Coach Greg Stocks (Mercyhurst '06). With an enrollment of 1,300, the Lake Erie Storm play in the ECAC, where they posted at 5-2 record (12-5 overall) last year. Section Five players currently playing for the Storm include Teddy Ferguson (Thunder) and Will Mulcahy (Batavia).

Before choosing Lake Erie, Wright also considered Alma College, Frostburg University and SUNY Oneonta.
