The Under Armour tournaments took place at Towson University (Maryland) with teams representing Baltimore, Long Island, Upstate New York, the Midwest, Philadelphia, New England, New Jersey, the South, Washington, D.C., and the West. Each team in the "Underclassmen" division played four pool games to determine the top two who played in the championship bracket. Rising sophomores to rising seniors (2014-2016) were selected from regional tryouts. Coaching the Upstate team were Bill Brennan (Silver Creek, Section 6), Mike Gottko (formerly Victor), and Mike Felice (Liverpool, Section 3).

Selected from Section Five were Brandon Barker (Pittsford - 2015), Sam Byassee (Victor - 2015), Trevor Hodgins (Churchville-Chili - 2014), Willie Klan (Schroeder - 2015), Nick Panara (Pittsford - 2014), Ben Reeves (Pal-Mac - 2014) and Brian Wall (Penfield - 2014).

The team went 2-2 in pool play and did not advance to the championship round, but their game against the South team, which they won in overtime was well covered by Inside Lacrosse. On Saturday, they won a game against New Jersey (14-9) and lost a game to Philadelphia (9-10).

For the first time this year, Under Armour added a second division for "Uncommitted" players who were not selected for the regional teams. There were a total of fifty players selected in each class (2014-2016). Selected form Section Five were rising sophomores Jamie Trimboli (mid - Thunder) and Cameron Gebhardt (att - Fairport) along with Allen Thibodeau (Fairport junior defenseman) and Eddie Eddington (senior midfielder Geneva).
