April 25, 2013 - The Genesee Community College recently announced the signing of three players from Livonia, who are expected to sturdy at and play or the college after their graduation this spring.
Sean Kidder, a long stick midfielder, currently has 47 ground balls in seven games. He is a three sport athlete, also participating in soccer and hockey. Off-season he has been involved with the Resolute Force U17 Team and was an alternate player for the Nike Rising Senior team last summer. He will begin his academics at GCC in hopes of one day becoming a Financial Advisor.
Mitchell Kinney, a midfielder/attackman, is a nine-year veteran of the sport. Also a member of the Livonia High School soccer team, Kinney has 28 goals and 11 assists (39 points) in nine games thus far in his senior season. As a junior he was selected to the Class C All-Tournament team.
Josh Wester, an attackman, brings five-years of lacrosse experience to Genesee. He was an All-League First Team member and All-Greater Rochester Honorable Mention during his junior season. Also a member of the football and hockey teams, Wester currently leads Livonia in goals, assists and points this season with 36g-27a (64pts). Since 9th grade Wester as thus far scored 212g-95a (216 pts) for the Bulldog Varsity. He plans to study Liberal Arts at Genesee.
