Penn Yan junior attackman Rion Davison has announced his verbal commitment to the University of Hartford. Davison scored 43g-27a in his sophomore year and was named to the Class C All-Tournament team in both his freshman and sophomore years. When he starts his junior season this spring, he will enter with a career record of 76g-34a.

Off season he has played on the Nike Rising Sophomore team and plays for the SweetLax Club team where he played in the Summer Slam, Tri State Festival, Yale Bulldog Classic and the John Pepper Tournament. This fall he played in the Big 4 UpLax tournament.

Before making his decision, Rion considered Colgate, Albany and Bucknell. He is the fifth rising junior in Section Five to make a verbal commitment this year.
