As the number of lacrosse programs in the Section Five area continues to grow, there is a greater need for trained officials at both scholastic and youth levels.

The Genesee Valley Lacrosse Officials Association provides officiating services for Section Five. They are looking for interested candidates for the spring season and will provide the training necessary for new members.

A "New Officials Orientation and Training Meeting" program has been planned starting on January 21st, 2013. The other two sessions are scheduled for January 28th and February 4th. These sessions have been designed for first and second year officials.

Candidates do not need experience in officiating or lacrosse and questions can be answered by contacting Kevin Curley. See the program flyer for specifics.
