March 17, 2016 - Penfield junior defender, Brady D`Hont, recently announced his verbal commitment to study and play lacrosse at Canisius College after his graduation in 2017. Brady begins his second year of starting for the Patriots. Full Report

Avon Needs Two Modified Games
March 18, 2016 - Due the cancellation of an opponent`s program, the Avon Modified program has two open dates to fill. Athletic Director, Andy Englert, is trying to schedule games for Wednesday, April 20th and Monday, May 9th. If interested please contact him at aenglert@avoncsd.org. Full Report

Thursday: Irondequoit Wins 8-7 Victory Over Aquinas
March 31, 2016 - Aquinas held the lead for much of the game, but a strong showing by the Eagles gave Irondequoit their second win of the season .Daniel Doktor (2g-2a) led the offensive effort while goaltenders Max Eismann (5s/5ga) and Carter Whittemore (6s/2ga) split time for the Eagle. For Aquinas, Nick Tschetter (3g-1a) led the scoring effort while Bryce Kelly made 11s for the Little Irish. Full Report

Jack Camp will go to King`s College
March 3, 2016 - Wayne Central attackman, Jack Camp recently announced his decision to continue his lacrosse career while studying at the McGowan School of Business at King`s College in Pennsylvania. Full Report

Sunday: Opening Day - Penfield over St. Joe`s 15-5
March 20, 2016 - The start of the 2016 season started today when the St. Joseph Collegiate Marauders (Section VI) traveled to Penfield where the Patriots extended a 4-2 first quarter to a 15-5 win. There will be 315 more games before the post season tournaments begin on May 21st. Full Report

Tuesday: Victor Continues Winning Ways
March 22, 2016 - The Victor Blue Devils added one more to the winning streak (currently at 23) with a 16-6 victory over the Corning Hawks. In the first game for both of the teams, Victor took a 5-1 lead in the first quarter and led at the half 9-2. It was another "media day" for the Blue Devils as they were featured on the front page of Inside Lacrosse Magazine, whose cover featured senior attackman Jamie Trimboli. Full Report

Thursday: Brighton, Bath, Mynderse and Brockport Win
March 24, 2016 - There were four games played today, the most exciting of which was Brighton over Hilton as the Barons scored five goals in the last quarter for a 10-8 win at home. Bath saw thirteen points from Michael Rice (6g-7a) in there win over Waterloo. Mynderse had six players on the scorebook as they won their game against the visiting Pride. Chad Tobey recorded 4g-3a as Brockport defeated Avon. All eight teams played their first game of the new season today. Full Report

Friday: Opening Win for Pittsford in Ohio
March 25, 2016 - Pittsford traveled to Ohio for their season opening and after a visit to Ohio State University, played a night game against Worthington Kilbourne. After a 3-1 first quarter and 5-4 half, the Panthers finished with a 12-8 win against the Wolves. Kilbourne has a strong tradition of winning, making it to the Ohio State "Final Four" twelve times as they begin their twenty-fifth year. In 2009 they won a State Championship and in the last five years have a record of 77-26. Full Report

Saturday: HF-L Takes 11-8 Victory Over Bath
March 26, 2016 - HF-L opened their 2016 campaign with a hard fought win over a determined team from Bath. Full Report

Tuesday: HF-L Over Schroeder in Overtime
March 29, 2016 - It is vacation week and there were six games played on Tuesday. Webster Schroeder scored three goals in the fourth quarter to force overtime, but the Cougars came through with the 11-10 overtime goal. Irondequoit used consistent scoring throughout their 13-7 win at Hilton. A strong Ithaca team came to Fairport for a win and Penn Yan had a close 7-6 win at Albany Academy. Canandaigua held Geneva scoreless in the second half as they won their game 9-2. Full Report

Wednesday: Pittsford Scores 7 Unanswered for 14-5 Win over OP
March 30, 2016 - The Panthers played a close game with Orchard Park (Section VI) for much of the first quarter, but after a 3-3 tie, they never looked back, holding the Quakers to 1 goal in the second half while scoring seven of their own. Full Report
