| Friday: Class A and Class C Quarter Finals |
| May 28, 2010 - The Class A seeds fell as predicted, with Fairport, R-H, Penfield and Pittsford all winning and the Class B did the same with Aquinas, Bloomfield-Honeoye, Penn Yan and Geneva all winning as well. R-H played a close game with Webster Schroeder and had a five goal streak in the last nine minutes for the 12-9 win. B-H had the closest win of the day as they beat Midlakes 7-6 in a game that went right down to the wire. Full Report |

| May 27, 2010 - The brackets feel as seed in Class B except for the Eagles from Irondequoit (#5), who defeated McQuaid Jesuit (#4), 14-9. Canandaigua beat Spencerport 23-2, Brighton beat Victor 14-11 and Thomas defeated HFL, 16-4. Full Report |

| May 26, 2010 - The Mustangs won the last out bracket game in the tournaments with their win against Bishop Kearney 22-1 tonight in Penn Yan. Full Report |

| Tuesday: One and Done - The Tournament Begins |
| May 25, 2010 - There were ten out bracket games played in the Section today and only one team that beat a higher seeded team. In the Class A bracket, Hilton (#9) beat Gates Chili (#8) and will play Fairport. Churchville-Chili be the Lightning and moves on to Pittsford. In Class B, Spencerport beat Eastridge and will take on CA next and HFL beat Brockport and will play Thomas on Thursday. Six games were played in Class C. Winners included Bath, B-H (who won their first ever Sectional game), Midlakes, Livonia, Geneva and Pal-Mac. Full Report |

| Saturday: Two Last Games in Regular Season |
| May 22, 2010 - The last two games were played today and the tournaments will be seeded tomorrow. Penn Yan lost their game with Amherst (10-9) when the Tigers scored the winning goal with 7.3 second left in the game. Bath won their game with Brockport 9-7. Full Report |

| May 21, 2010 - Two games down and two games left for Section Five teams, as Aquinas beat Livonia 6-4 and Bloomfield-Honeoye beat Bishop Kearney 18-9 this afternoon. Full Report |

| Thursday: Last Big Day of Regular Season Games |
| May 20, 2010 - Most teams in Section Five finished their regular season games today, playing fourteen game in total. There are only four games left to be played before Tournament seeding on Sunday. Today Thomas beat Irondequoit 11-8 and Victor had a close win over Churchville-Chili (16-15). Eastridge was a 13-11 winner over the Lightning and Waterloo beat Newark 9-4. | May 19, 2010 - There were two game played on Wednesday. Marcus Whitman celebrated senior night with a 10-5 victory over visiting Newark. Aquinas traveled to Buffalo and beat Bishop Timon 11-7. Full Report |

| May 18, 2010 - There were fifteen games in Section Five today, as the regular season is winding down. Fairport hosted Pittsford and defeated the Panthers 13-5. Penfield defeated visiting Penn Yan 9-6, East Rochester beat Spencerport 11-10 and Bloomfield-Honeoye beat Mynderse 15-14. | May 15, 2010 - There were six games played today. Penn Yan won by a goal at Geneva. Midlakes scored the last fourteen goals to beat Bath 18-10. Lightning beat BK 9-6 and Spencerport beat Batavia 12-6. It was Pal-Mac over Mynderse and Thunder over Newark. Full Report |

| May 12, 2010 -Bloomfield-Honeoye (10-3) held on to a 8-1 first half lead to beat Pal-Mac 9-5. The Greece Thunder (Ath/Ody) beat Bishop Kearney 21-3 in the only other game in Section Five today. Full Report |

| Tuesday: Penfield and Aquinas both win one goal games |
| May 11, 2010 - The 'Lil Irish came back, late in the fourth quarter to force overtime where they defeated Bath-Haverling in overtime this afternoon at Aquinas. Penfield held off a fired-up Rush-Henrietta and won their game 13-12 in regulation. Thomas won a 14-11 game with HFL while the rest of the fifteen games played today were not that close. | May 10, 2010 - Livonia avenged a loss earlier in the season as they beat McQuaid Jesuit today 9-5 at home. In the only other game in Section Five today, Midlakes beat Bloomfield-Honeoye 12-6. Full Report |

| Saturday: Pittsford, Fairport and Marcus Whitman win today |
| May 8, 2010 - Pittsford played a close game with Brighton for a while, but took control in the fourth quarter and won 13-8 in the cold a windy late afternoon as Pittsford celebrated lacrosse with an all day lacrosse event at Mendon. Brighton was the last undefeated team in Section Five. Fairport took an early lead and ended with a 13-2 win over visiting Penn Yan. In an exciting game for Marcus Whitman, the Wildcats won their first ever Varsity game, in overtime, as they defeated Waterloo 11-10. Full Report |

| May 7, 2010 - Penfield scored the first seven goals on their way to an 18-4 win at Gates Chili tonight. In the other Friday night contest, Irondequoit beat visiting HFL 9-5. Full Report |

| Thursday: The Streak Ends, Thomas over CA |
| May 6, 2010 - After 30 straight wins, Canandaigua lost in a close game to Webster Thomas, 11-10 this afternoon. The Titans overcame a 5-4 halftime score with a strong third quarter and determination in the last quarter with the winning goal by TJ Hauck with twenty-five second left the regulation. Aquinas played a close one and with seven goals in the second half beat Churchville-Chili 12-10. Rush-Henrietta beat Schroeder 13-11. Other winners were Batavia, Brighton, Victor, Pittsford, Mynderse, Geneva, B-H, Pal-Mac and McQuaid. Full Report |

| May 5, 2010 - In the sole high school lacrosse game of the night in Section Five, the Frontier Falcons representing Section Six (Buffalo) traveled to Penn Yan to take on the Mustangs in an intersectional match up. Full Report |

| Monday: Batavia over Newark 5-3 |
| May 3, 2010 - One goal in the third and an extra one in the fourth quarter gave Batavia all they needed in a low scoring 5-3 win against host Newark this afternoon.
Joe Pedro (1g-1a) was one of five different players for Batavia to score in the game. Senior goalie Theo Hill recorded 14 saves for the Blue Devils (6-3) who host East Rochester tomorrow. Full Report |

| Saturday: Canandaigua - In Overtime 12-11 |
| May 1, 2010 - There has been a great deal of talk about the Canandaigua-Fairport game and the game itself met all expectations. With neither team leading my more than two goals, and with Fairport sending the game into overtime with two goal scored in the last seconds of the game, the estimated eleven hundred lacrosse fans were treated to a great game.
